Sponsorship and Fundraising

Whilst Tewkesbury Abbey and The Abbey Lawn Trust have offered the use of the building and grounds for free, and our people are all unpaid volunteers we have costs: insurance, equipment hire, excess labour charges at the Abbey, publicity, printed programme etc. Starting, literally from scratch, we have raised £1800, including grants and donations from the Blakemore Foundation, Project Alleycat, Gloucestershire CC and Tewkesbury Town Council, with more promised.
But we need more, so we are looking for sponsors and donations. Please help if you can. We have a series of sponsorship packages for local businesses. We have a Justgiving (thisis-tewkesbury) page for individual and anonymous donations.


We are anxious to attract commercial sponsorship as well as public/charitable grants. This Is Tewkesbury will be a great community event, but we realise that businesses are not charities, so we are offering a range of sponsorship packages - from only £50 to £250 - with increasing public exposure.
