This Is Tewkesbury would like to develop a database of community and public groups and activities in the Tewkesbury area. As we found out when launching the Community Day last year, there is no one reliable listing of groups, nor anyone responsible for maintaining one. This is the first iteration. We are aware of its shortcomings. Our website builder (Hostinger) has very limited database support so we have adapted a sales page, and we do not have an experienced database designer.
But it is a start, and our aim in the short-term is to produce a "quick and dirty" working example to demonstrate the potential to groups, suitably skilled volunteers and possible funders. Have a go!

Tewkesbury Arts & Drama Society
TADS was formed well over half a century ago with the aim of providing drama for the enjoyment of its members and the community at large, and to widen the society members’ knowledge of all aspects of drama. The society is run by its members from its monthly meeting at which visitors are welcome. TADS is always pleased to welcome new members to add to the ranks: both young and old, experienced or novice are welcome. In addition to the actors needed for our productions, we always have many posts to fill behind the scenes. These include: marketing, finance, stage management, musical direction, properties, lighting & sound, costumes, set design & construction, and front of house. TADS perform all types of productions, from comedies and musicals to drama and the classics, but with an emphasis on drama. The society performs at the Roses Theatre, the Old Baptist Chapel, local community events, and at local one-act play festivals, where we usually present plays written by our members.
